Forest Stewardship Council<\/h2>\n

When you purchase a product bearing the FSC logo, it means that the materials used to make that product come from responsibly managed forests. This is crucial for the preservation of forests worldwide\u2014a principle known as Forest Management (FM).<\/p>\n

To ensure that FSC-certified wood is kept separate from non-certified materials throughout the supply chain, every link in the chain must be certified. That means every company involved in processing, manufacturing, or distributing the product made from FSC wood must also be FSC-certified.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to note that an FSC-certified company is still allowed to sell non-FSC-certified products. You can check your invoice to see whether the product you\u2019ve purchased is FSC certified. FSC Paper and Use of the FSC Logo<\/h2>\n

All printing companies that New Energy Printing collaborates with are FSC certified. We also use FSC paper as our standard. However, this does not automatically mean that you can use the FSC logo in your book.<\/p>\n

Every step in the process must be documented\u2014the entire supply chain. This requires additional (administrative) actions from all parties involved. That is why including the FSC logo in your book comes with a small surcharge. This cost is approximately 1 to 3% of the total production cost of your book.
