Standard transport<\/h1>\n

Our quotes -and orders- include, as standard, one delivery to a single delivery address in the Netherlands or Belgium.<\/p>\n

This is what we mean by standard transport:<\/h2>\n

        \n
      1. One delivery, one delivery address<\/strong>
        \nA standard delivery involves a single delivery to a single address. Up to six pallets are delivered using a lorry fitted with a tail lift and a pallet truck. For shipments of more than six pallets, a larger lorry without a tail lift is usually used.<\/li>\n
      2. Accessible location<\/strong>
        \nThe delivery location must be accessible to a lorry. Please note that larger shipments (more than 6 pallets) require more space for manoeuvring and unloading.<\/li>\n
      3. Delivery time<\/strong>
        \nThe transit time (from collection to delivery) is a maximum of 5 working days, and in some cases 6 working days.
        \nWe cannot guarantee the exact delivery date in advance \u2013 sometimes delivery takes place as early as day 4, but in exceptional cases, delivery may be delayed beyond day 5 due to unforeseen circumstances.
        \nDeliveries take place on working days between 08:00 and 17:00.
        \nIf required, our carrier can contact you by telephone one working day before delivery to arrange a delivery time.
        \nA time-slot delivery (delivery within an agreed time slot) is available for an additional charge of \u20ac50. In this case, an extra day may be added to the transit time.<\/li>\n
      4. Unloading the goods<\/strong>
        \nThe driver will deliver the pallet(s) to the front door at the specified address.
        \nPlease note: the driver cannot drive the pallet over thresholds, kerbs or other obstacles. Furthermore, the goods will not be unloaded from the pallet or carried inside. The driver will deliver the items right to your front door. You will need to carry the boxes inside yourself (even if they are on a pallet). If the driver cannot get close to the front door (for example, due to a gravel path), he will unload the books at the start of the path and you will need to carry the boxes to the front door yourself. It is therefore important that someone is present when the books are delivered. Someone must always be present to accept the goods and sign the delivery note.<\/li>\n
      5. Absence or refusal upon delivery
        \n<\/strong>If a delivery appointment has been made and no one is present, or if the delivery is refused, an additional charge of \u20ac50 will be applied. We will then contact you to arrange a new appointment.<\/li>\n
      6. Damage or discrepancies on delivery
        \n<\/strong>Always check the goods upon receipt.
        \nIs there any damage to the pallet or boxes? Report this immediately to the driver, note the damage on the delivery note (with signatures from both parties) and take photographs of the damage.<\/li>\n
      7. Smaller shipments of up to approximately 400 books (TNT or FedEx)
        \n<\/strong>Smaller print runs are sent via TNT or FedEx. We will send you a track-and-trace link so you can track your parcel.
        \nDelivery usually takes 3 working days once the books have been printed. A delivery attempt will be made on the date indicated in the track-and-trace details.
        \nIf no one is present at the time of delivery, the courier will take the parcel back with them and will usually attempt to deliver it again the following day.
        \nThe status of the shipment can always be viewed via the track & trace link.
        \nIt is also possible to contact TNT or FedEx by phone and check the current status using the tracking number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
