Perfect Bound or Sewn Binding
In everyday language, a perfect bound book is also known as a glue-bound book. The printed book block (the interior) is glued to the cover, and then the softcover book is cut. This is the most affordable binding option for softcover books.
Alternatively, you can choose a sewn binding, where thread and glue are used to bind the book. This method is slightly more expensive than perfect binding, but it allows the book to open more easily and the binding is stronger. It is ideal for softcover books that will be used frequently, especially when a coated paper type is used.
