Wondering how long it takes to print your book?
Production time depends on the type of book, print quantity, and any special finishes or materials. Below you will find an indication of our standard production and delivery times.
Softcover books
The average production time for a softcover book is approximately 3 weeks after approval of the print-ready files and receipt of the final order confirmation
Hardcover books
The average production time for a hardcover book is approximately 4 weeks. Because hardcover books require additional production steps, such as manufacturing the case, the production time is slightly longer than for softcover books.
Special finishes and materials
Are you choosing premium materials or special finishes, such as a linen or faux leather cover, foil stamping, spot UV, a slipcase, or other custom production techniques? If so, the production time may be longer than our standard lead times.
Special paper stocks or custom-made specifications may also affect the production schedule. Naturally, we will inform you of this in advance.
Large print runs
For larger print runs (over 3,000 books), it may be necessary to order paper specifically for your project from the paper mill or supplier. This is particularly common for special paper stocks, custom formats, or high-volume orders.
The paper delivery time may extend the overall production schedule by several weeks.
💡Standard delivery includes one shipment to a single delivery address in the Netherlands or Belgium.
